The advanced settings on your Cogeco modem allow you to perform actions such as setting a specific DNS server or enabling port-forwarding. See below for steps to log into your modem.

  1. In an Internet browser, go to http://192.168.0.1 to access the modem’s Administrator page.
    • Note: If you are not currently connected to your Wi-Fi network, you will need to connect your laptop directly to the modem via Ethernet.
  2. Log in with your admin username and password if you have set one up, or use the default credentials for your modem model:
    • Hitron CODA-4589:
      • Username: “cusadmin”
      • Password: “Cogeco1!” or “password”
    • ARRIS TG3452A:
      • Username: “admin”
      • Password: the Preshared Key on the sticker on the back of the modem
    • ARRIS TG2472:
      • Username: "admin"
      • Password: "password"
    • Cisco/Technicolor DPC3848:
      • Username: [leave blank]
      • Password: [leave blank] or "password"
    • Sagemcom F@st 3896:
      • Username: "admin"
      • Password: the Gateway management password on the sticker on the back of the modem

For more information on managing these settings, please refer to the modem's user manual:
