If you see the name of your wireless home network but aren’t able to connect to it, you’ll need to do a factory reset of your modem. This process will revert the name of your network (SSID) and password back to their default settings.

To do this, insert a straightened paperclip into the “reset” or “reboot” hole located on the back of the modem. Press the paperclip in for 15 seconds, then release. The modem will try to resynchronize with the Cogeco network, which can take up to 2 minutes.

For instructions to get the default network name and password for your modem, see here.
