What do I do if my wireless network isn’t on the list of available networks on my device?

If the name of your wireless network doesn’t appear on your list of available networks, there are 2 things to try first:

  1. Check that you’re looking for the correct network name (SSID). Learn more about managing your network name and password.
  2. Try connecting to your network with another Wi-Fi-enabled device. If another device can detect your network, there’s likely a problem with the first device. Consult the manufacturer of this device for troubleshooting.

Once you’re sure that the network name is correct and the issue isn’t with the device you’re using, try troubleshooting your wireless network.
