If you’re using a third-party router and you’re having trouble connecting to your Wi-Fi network but your modem is online, the problem could be with the router. There could be an internal problem with the router, or it might just be out of sync with your modem.
We recommend resetting your router by following these steps:
- Disconnect the power cable to your router.

Reset your Cogeco modem through My Account, by unplugging it for a few seconds or using the reset button.

To reset it through My Account, select the Equipment tab, look for your modem in the Current equipment table and select Reset.

Wait for the modem to come back online, then reconnect the power to your router.
When your router comes back online it should resync with the modem.
