How do I connect my gaming console to my wireless network?

To connect your gaming console to your wireless network, just follow the steps for your console:

Xbox One

  1. Press the Menu button on the Xbox One controller.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Network.
  4. Select Set Up Wireless Network.
  5. Select the name of your wireless network from the list of available networks.
  6. Enter your network password.
  7. Select Test Network Connection on the Network Settings screen to make sure that your console is connected.

Xbox Series X

  1. Press the Xbox button on the controller and select your profile.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. On the General tab, select Network Settings.
  4. Select Set Up Wireless Network.
  5. Follow the prompts to select your network and enter the password.
  6. When connected, you should see the It’s all good screen.

PS4

  1. Select Network.
  2. Select Set up Internet Connection.
  3. Select Use WiFi.
  4. Select Easy.
  5. Select the name of the Wi-Fi network you want to join.
  6. Enter your password.
  7. Select default settings for any remaining choices.

PS5

  1. Select Settings.
  2. Select Network.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select Set up Internet Connection.
  5. Follow the prompts to select your network and enter the password.

Nintendo Switch

  1. From the home menu, select Settings.
  2. Select Internet.
  3. Select Internet Settings.
  4. Select the name of the Wi-Fi network you want to join.
  5. Enter your password.
  6. After the Nintendo Switch tests your Internet connection, select OK to complete the connection process.
