Do parental controls work on my DVR recordings?

Yes, parental controls restrict the viewing of recorded programs. When you schedule a recording for a locked program or channel, it will be recorded normally and will not require a PIN until you attempt to watch it. If you flip to the channel while the recording is in progress, or try to play the recording from My Recordings, you’ll be prompted to enter your PIN.

Good to know: To add a parental lock for a program you’ve already recorded, select it from My Recordings and select the lock icon, or press the star button on your remote, if available.
