If you’re unable to send or receive multimedia text messages (MMS), here are some things to try:

  • Make sure your mobile data is turned on. You need data to send and receive MMS, even if you’re connected to Wi-Fi.
  • Restart your device (this often resolves temporary network or software issues).
  • Verify your Access Point Name (APN) settings, which can be found in the cellular data section of your phone’s settings. (You can read more about APN settings here.) Incorrect Access Point Name settings can block MMS, so you should verify that they match Cogeco Mobile’s configuration.
  • Make sure your device supports MMS in the first place and that your messaging app is up to date.
  • Try sending an MMS with a smaller file size, since the file size may be too large.
