How do I use a splitter to connect 2 devices to the same cable?

A coaxial cable splitter is an easy way to connect 2 devices to the same cable outlet. To do this, you’ll need a splitter and 3 coaxial cables. We include a splitter and 2 cables with each modem or receiver we send out. Here’s how to use them:

1. Connect the cable from the wall to the IN connector.
2. Connect the cable from each of your devices to the OUT connectors.

Good to know: If you need to connect 2 pieces of cable to reach further, use a cable joiner instead of a cable splitter. This will ensure you get the best signal. We also include a joiner with each modem and receiver. It looks like this:
