Can I chat live with a real person from Cogeco?

Yes, absolutely. When you start a chat, Sam, Cogeco’s Virtual Assistant, will offer to help you first. Sam can help you with basic tasks such as logging in to My Account, troubleshooting your services and answering most of your questions about our products. If they can’t help, they’ll hand you over to a local agent.

Chatting with a local agent on the My Account app

  1. Open the My Account app and log in. (You can download the app from Google Play or the App Store, or scan the QR code below.)

  2. Select the Support tab.
  3. Select Contact us.
  4. Select Start Chat.

This will start a chat with Sam, Cogeco’s Virtual Assistant. To speak to an agent, just ask Sam (e.g. enter “live agent”). Once you confirm what you need help with, Sam will hand you over to a local agent.

Chatting with a local agent in a browser

Click on the Chat button, which you can find at the bottom of most cogeco.ca pages.
