It’s sometimes necessary to clear the data on your EPICO 4K Cloud PVR when troubleshooting certain issues like a black screen or being unable to select a profile. You can follow the steps below to clear your data and restore your service.
Good to know:
- You might be able to restore your service just by resetting your PVR. To perform a soft reset, unplug the box for a few seconds and plug it back in, or go to Settings > System > Restart System.
- Clearing your data will reset some user settings to their defaults so you’ll need to re-apply any Parental Controls and re-download apps like Netflix.
Clearing data through the EPICO menu
- Select Settings.
- Select Android TV Settings.
- Select Apps.
- Select the Cogeco EPICO app.
- Select Clear data.
- Press the OK button on your remote.
- You’ll see “0 B” below Clear Data when the process is complete.
- Press the Live TV button on your remote to reload the app.
- Sign back in to EPICO.
