How do I clear the data on my EPICO 4K Cloud PVR?

It’s sometimes necessary to clear the data on your EPICO 4K Cloud PVR when troubleshooting certain issues like a black screen or being unable to select a profile. You can follow the steps below to clear your data and restore your service.

Good to know: 

  • You might be able to restore your service just by resetting your PVR. To perform a soft reset, unplug the box for a few seconds and plug it back in, or go to Settings > System > Restart System.
  • Clearing your data will reset some user settings to their defaults so you’ll need to re-apply any Parental Controls and re-download apps like Netflix.

Clearing data through the EPICO menu

  1. Select Settings.
  2. Select Android TV Settings.
  3. Select Apps.
  4. Select the Cogeco EPICO app.
  5. Select Clear data.
  6. Press the OK button on your remote. 
    • You’ll see “0 B” below Clear Data when the process is complete.
  7. Press the Live TV button on your remote to reload the app.
  8. Sign back in to EPICO.
