How do I download and manage my recordings on the EPICO app on a mobile device?

With EPICO, you can download your recordings on your mobile devices to watch whenever and wherever you want.

Downloading your recordings on a tablet

  1. Open the EPICO app and log in.
  2. From the main menu, select your profile name.
  3. Select Recordings.
  4. Select DVR Manager.
  5. Select the episode or program you want to download.
  6. Select the Download icon.

Downloading your recordings on a mobile phone

  1. Open the EPICO app and log in.
  2. From the main menu, select your profile name.
  3. Under Recordings, select a recently recorded program, or select DVR Manager to find the program you want to download and select it.
  4. Select the Download icon.

Accessing and watching your downloaded recordings

If you downloaded a program on a mobile device, you can play the recording on that device, even without an Internet connection.

To find your downloads, follow these steps:

  1. Open the EPICO app on your mobile device and log in.
  2. From the main menu, select your profile name.
  3. Under Downloads, select a recently downloaded program to watch, or select All Downloads to view the Download Manager.

Good to know:

  • While the program is stored on your mobile device, you will not be able to watch it on your EPICO 4K Box or other devices, until it is deleted from that mobile device.
  • Downloads are available for 7 days before expiring. If your download has expired, it can be deleted and redownloaded.
  • Downloaded programs will also have the same expiry date as their original recording (365 days after the recording date).
  • Downloaded programs will remember your last playback time for 48 hours between devices. For example, if you stopped a program after 20 minutes on your EPICO 4K Box and then downloaded it to your phone, playback will start again at 20 minutes on your phone. This also works for resuming a program on your EPICO 4K Box that you started on your mobile device.
  • To delete a recording, select it from the Download Manager and select the trash icon. The original recording will not be deleted unless it is deleted from the DVR Manager.
