If there are outlets in my new home, can I install my Cogeco services myself?

Yes, when you contact us to arrange the move, we’ll check to see if your services are available for self-installation and if your new home still has active service. If you qualify, we’ll make the arrangements so you just need to hook up your equipment at your new address. If you need any new equipment, we’ll send it to you by courier and you can drop off your old equipment at a Canada Post office.

To see if you qualify for self-installation and then make the necessary arrangements with an agent, contact customer service. We'll need to confirm the following:

  • Your address has active service from a previous installation.
  • Self-installation is available at your address. Some areas with fibre-to-the-home service require a professional installation.
  • There are coaxial outlets already installed at the locations where you want service.

Good to know: If you need help with the installation, we have support videos and instruction guides on our support site.
