Unless otherwise indicated, open box and refurbished phones can be returned within 30 days from the date your online order is delivered.

Return process

Visit the Returning a Marketplace product by mail page for details on how to process your return. For items sold and shipped by Best Buy, please refer to their standard Returns and Exchanges policy.

Most open box and refurbished phones purchased on the Best Buy website are sold and shipped by Marketplace sellers. If you're not sure if your phone was sold by a Marketplace seller, check the phone’s product page on the Best Buy website and look at the "Sold and shipped by" section. If it doesn't say "Sold and shipped by Best Buy", then it's a Marketplace product.

Keep in mind:

• All returns for products sold by Marketplace sellers must be returned by mail (i.e., cannot be returned at a Best Buy store or a Cogeco store).
• Return shipping costs will be paid by the Marketplace seller for all cases where the product is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
• For other cases (e.g., you changed your mind), you will be responsible for the return shipping cost.
