What do I do if I receive a TiVo Error Message starting with S?

Follow the steps below to troubleshoot your TiVo service. If the error code you have received is not on this list, please refer to our article on troubleshooting your TiVo connection.

 
Error Code Issue Steps to troubleshoot issue
S308 The device could not complete the Guided Setup.
  1. Test the Internet connection by going to TiVo Central > Menu > Settings > Network Settings > Network Troubleshooting > Internet Connection.
  2. Reboot the TiVo device by unplugging the power cord for 15 seconds, then plugging it back in.
