Is Cogeco Security+ compatible with other antivirus or security products?

In general, antivirus and antimalware programs are not compatible with each other. Before installing Cogeco Security+ on your device, you’ll need to uninstall any other security products, such as Norton and McAfee.

If you’re using the security features in the Cogeco Wi-Fi app or the Shield features in the Cogeco Business Wi-Fi app to protect your network, these can be left running and will not interfere with Cogeco Security+. That’s because they’re protecting your network at the modem rather than from your individual devices.
