What do I do if my EPICO 4K Cloud PVR isn’t responding to the remote?

When you press a button on your EPICO remote, you should see the LED at the top of the remote flash once (red or green, depending on the model).

  • If the LED doesn’t flash, the batteries need to be replaced.
  • If the LED flashes several times, the batteries are low and will need to be replaced soon.
  • If the LED flashes but the EPICO 4K Cloud PVR still doesn’t respond, there are a few things you can try:
    • Try aiming the remote at your PVR and make sure nothing is blocking the path. If it responds, this means the remote isn’t paired to the PVR and needs a direct line of sight to work. To make the remote more responsive and control the PVR without line-of-sight, you can pair it with your PVR.
    • If the PVR doesn’t respond, even with line of sight, the remote might be paired with a different PVR. To reset your remote, hold the OK and 5 buttons until the LED blinks. Now you can use the remote with line of sight, or pair it with your PVR.
