How do I set up Closed Captioning (CC) with EPICO?

On EPICO you can enable closed captioning in the settings or while watching a program. Either way, closed captioning will be enabled on any channel or program where it’s available until you disable it again. See below for steps to enable closed captioning on different device types.

Good to know: The language of the closed captioning will match the audio language of the channel.

Enabling closed captioning on your EPICO 4K Box

  1. Select Settings ⚙ from the main menu.
  2. Select Display.
  3. Select Closed Captions and choose On.

You can also enable closed captioning while a show or movie is playing. Here’s how:

  1. Press OK and then the down arrow on your remote to access the playback options.
  2. Select the closed captioning icon (CC) to toggle it on or off.

Enabling closed captioning on a mobile device

  1. While a show or movie is playing, tap the screen to access playback options.
  2. Select the Settings ⚙ icon.
  3. Select closed captioning and choose On.

Enabling closed captioning on a streaming device

  1. Select Settings from the left menu.
  2. Select Accessibility settings.
  3. Select Closed Captioning and choose On.

You can also enable closed captioning while a show or movie is playing. Here’s how:

  1. Press OK/Select on the remote to access playback options.
  2. Select Options ⚙.
  3. Select Closed Captions and choose On.

  1. While a show or movie is playing, click the screen to access the playback options.
  2. Select the up arrow on the right .
  3. Select the closed captioning icon (CC) to toggle it on or off.
