How do I reset my parental control PINs on EPICO?

If you can’t remember one or more of your parental control PINs, you’ll have to reset all your PINs. You can easily do this on My Account.

If you remember your PIN and just want to change it, you can do this through the EPICO menu. Note that this will change the corresponding PIN on all devices.

See below for steps to reset your PIN through My Account or one of your EPICO devices.

Resetting PINs on My Account

  1. Visit cogeco.ca/pin
  2. Log in with your My Account username and password.
  3. Select Reset.

All of your PINs will be reset to the default 0000 on all your devices.

Resetting PINs on your EPICO 4K Cloud PVR

  1. Select Settings ⚙ from the main menu.
  2. Select Parental Controls.
  3. Select the parental controls you want to manage: Content locks, Purchase locks or Adult locks.
  4. Enter your current PIN.
  5. Select Reset PIN.
  6. Enter your new PIN twice to confirm.

Resetting PINs on a mobile device

  1. Select the Profile & Settings icon at the top right.
  2. Select Content locks.
  3. Enter your current PIN.
  4. Select Change PIN.
  5. Enter your new PIN twice to confirm.

Resetting PINs in a browser

  1. Select Settings.

  2. Select the parental controls you want to manage: Content locks, Purchase locks or Adult locks.

  3. Enter your current PIN.

  4. Select Reset PIN.

  5. Enter your new PIN twice to confirm.

Resetting PINs on a streaming device

  1. Select Settings from the left menu.
  2. Select Content locks.
  3. Without entering your PIN, select Change content PIN.
  4. Enter your current PIN.
  5. Enter your new PIN twice to confirm.
