Here are some things to try:

  • Restart your phone. This can refresh the connection between the device and the SIM card.
  • Remove and reinsert the SIM card. Before reinserting it, make sure it’s clean, undamaged and properly fits into the tray.
  • Test the SIM card in another phone. If it works, then the issue is with your device and not the card.
  • Check for software updates and install any ones that are available.
  • Ensure your account is active and in good standing. If it’s been suspended or is inactive, this may affect the functioning of your SIM.
