If you're a victim or port-out fraud, follow these steps:
- Contact us immediately. Ask for your number to be restored and for a fraud lock.
- Notify your bank. Freeze accounts, request new cards, and monitor transactions.
- Reset all passwords. Switch to app-based authentication instead of SMS.
- Report the incident.

- Local police (obtain a case number)
- CRTC (if telecom-related)
- Check your credit reports. Contact Equifax Canada and TransUnion Canada.
