How do I order VOD and PPV programming on my TiVo box?

Cogeco Video on Demand (VOD) and Pay-Per-View (PPV) give you access to even more great programming.

How to order a VOD title

  1. Press the TiVo button to open TiVo Central.
  2. Select Cogeco on Demand.
  3. Choose a category and select a title.
  4. Select Watch Now.
  5. Any charges will be billed directly to your account and will show up on your next statement.

Good to know:

  • With most videos, you can start, stop, pause, rewind and fast-forward your selection using your remote control; however, rewind and fast-forward are not available on some free On Demand channels.
  • If you want to return to watching regular TV, press the Live TV button on your remote at any time.
  • You can watch the show or movie as often as you like within the rental period (24 or 48 hours, depending on the title).
  • If you would like to view the film after the rental viewing period has elapsed, you will need to rent the show or movie again. Note that the rental fee will be charged a second time.

How to resume a VOD rental

While your rental is still active, you can almost always resume where you left off, without being charged again. Here’s how:

  1. Go to TiVo Central.
  2. Select Cogeco on Demand.
  3. Select My Rentals.
  4. Select the title you want to resume watching.

How to order a PPV title

  1. Press the Guide button on your remote control
  2. Go to channel 799 to see the available PPV content.
  3. Select the content you want and press Enter.
  4. Confirm your purchase by following the steps displayed on your screen

Good to know:

  • Your PPV order with Cogeco will only be billed once you start watching the program.

How to configure a purchase PIN

Once you’ve set up a four-digit personal identification number (PIN) as your purchase code, no one can order PPV or VOD content through your account without it.

To set this up, follow these steps:

  1. Go to TiVo Central.
  2. Select Menu.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select Parental & Purchase PINs.
  5. Select Parental Controls and enter a PIN to enable them (or to unlock the settings menu if they are already enabled).
  6. Select Purchase Controls to toggle them on.
