Under certain conditions, you may be able to install your Internet, Phone and/or TV service yourself. To do this, in addition to having basic technical skills, you need to be one of the following:
- A new customer connecting Internet, TV or Phone service for the first time (note: this excludes customers getting TiVo®).
- An existing customer upgrading or changing Internet, TV or Phone service, or equipment.
- An existing Internet and/or TV and/or Phone customer moving to a new location.
Finally, to be able to install your Cogeco Internet, Phone and/or TV service on your own, all the coaxial cable outlets you’ll need must already be installed in the places you need them.
If you’re installing your services yourself, we’ll send you a Self-Install Kit containing all the equipment you’ll need, as well as any cables and instructions. Instructional videos and step-by-step guides are available on the Cogeco website.
Good to know: Some conditions may apply to be able to install your Phone service on your own. In some cases, a technician will need to come to your home.
