How do I send an attachment?

Note: Over the coming months, Cogeco will be migrating customers to a new version of Webmail. After logging in, check the icon at the top left of the page to see which version you are on. All customers will be migrated to the new platform by the end of summer 2022.

The new Webmail also has Modern and Classic modes, depending on which browser you are using. These guides will focus on the Modern mode.

 

Including attachments with your messages on Webmail is just as easy as it is through any email client.

To send an attachment, follow these steps:

Legacy Webmail

  1. Open a message. This could be a new message, or one you are replying to or forwarding.
  2. Click on the Attach icon.
  3. Select the file you want to attach and press the Open button.
  4. The attached files will now be listed above the email body.

New Webmail

  1. Open a message. This could be a new message, or one you are replying to or forwarding.
  2. Click on the Attachments icon.

  3. Select where to attach the file from and follow the prompts:
    • Attach from my computer: search for a file or select the path from your computer.
    • Attach file from email: select from files found in your emails, or search by keyword if the file does not appear.
    • Attach mail: select an email to attach from your Inbox or other folders.
    • Attach photos from email: select from photos found in your emails, or search by keyword if the photo does not appear.
  4. The attached files will now be listed at the bottom of the email body.
