How do I change the priority of a message?

Note: Over the coming months, Cogeco will be migrating customers to a new version of Webmail. After logging in, check the icon at the top left of the page to see which version you are on. All customers will be migrated to the new platform by the end of summer 2022.

The new Webmail also has Modern and Classic modes, depending on which browser you are using. These guides will focus on the Modern mode.

 

Changing the priority of a message on Webmail is a good way to let the recipient know how important it is for them to reply in a timely fashion.

To change the priority of a message:

Legacy Webmail

  1. Open a message. This could be a new message, or one you are replying to or forwarding.
  2. Click on Options.


  3. Under the Priority option, click on the down arrow to change the priority of the message to Normal, Urgent, or Low.

New Webmail

  1. Open a message. This could be a new message, or one you are replying to or forwarding.
  2. Select the 3 dots next to the From line (or Options in Classic mode).

  3. Select High Priority from the dropdown.
