Closed captioning (CC) displays a transcript of the program's audio on the screen.

You can activate this free service in two ways:

  1. Through your Cogeco receiver: Some of our receivers let you activate closed captioning in the settings menu.
  2. Through your TV: Sometimes, closed captioning is a TV function and is not controlled by the Cogeco receiver. To turn this service on or off, you just need to push the CC or Text button on your TV remote. You can also access this service from your TV menu.

For more information, please refer to your TV manual or contact the manufacturer.

Good to know: Closed captioning is not available for all programs. However, when this function is available, the CC icon usually appears at the start of the program.
