How do I customize what channels I see in the EPICO Guide?

Before getting started: If you have TV with Cogeco but aren’t an EPICO subscriber, refer to our articles on setting up Favourites on our other platforms, including Digital TV and TiVo.

There are 3 main ways that channels can be customized in your EPICO guide:

  • Subscribed: This is an automatic filter that only displays the channels you’re subscribed to with Cogeco. This will also include any channels currently on a free preview.
  • Favourites: This is a filter that allows you to make a Favourites list with only the channels you want to see. Learn more about creating a customized Favourites list.
  • Playable on this device: This filter will only show channels that are playable on the device in your current location.

Good to know: In addition to the main filters, you can also filter by Category (Movies, Sports, etc.), Quality (HD, 4K, etc.) and Language.

Applying filters on your EPICO 4K Box

  1. Access the Full Guide (on your remote, press GUIDE, then the right arrow).
  2. Press the Option button on the remote, or scroll to the filtering options at the top of the channel list.
  3. From Filter By, select Subscribed, Playable On This Device or Favourite Channels.
  4. To apply additional filters, select a Channel Type, Quality or Language.

To remove the filter, follow the same steps and select All Channels.

Applying filters on a tablet or from a browser

  1. From the main menu, select your profile name.
  2. Select My channels.
  3. Select View Guide.
  4. Select the Filter icon on the top right of the screen.
  5. From the filter list, select Subscribed, Playable On This Device or Favourite Channels.
  6. To apply additional filters, select a Category, Quality or Language.

To remove the filter, follow the same steps and select All Channels.

Applying filters on a mobile phone

  1. From the bottom menu, select Guide.
  2. Tap the Filter icon on the top right of the screen.
  3. From the filter list, select Subscribed, Playable On This Device or Favourite Channels.

To remove the filter, follow the same steps and select All Channels.

Applying filters on a streaming device

  1. From the left menu, select Home.
  2. Select TV Guide from Live on my favorite channels.
  3. Press the Back button on your remote and select the Filter icon above the guide.
  4. From the filter list, select Subscribed or Favourite Channels.
  5. To apply additional filters, select a Category, Quality or Language.
  6. Select See Results to apply the selected filters (not required on all devices).

To remove the filter, follow the same steps and select All Channels.
