The new Webmail also has Modern and Classic modes, depending on which browser you are using. These guides will focus on the Modern mode.

Searching for a contact in Webmail is a quick and efficient way to find an email address you may have lost or forgotten about.

To search for a contact, follow these steps:

Legacy Webmail

  1. Click on the Address Book near the bottom left of your screen.
  2. Click on the blank field next to Find: under the Address Book toolbar.
  3. Type in the name of the contact you are looking for.
  4. The filter icon in the search field also gives you the option to search by Display name or email, First name, Last name, or Phone Number.

New Webmail

  1. Click on the Contacts button from the toolbar at the top of the page.

  2. Check to make sure Contacts is selected next to the search field.

  3. Enter the criteria you want to find in the Search your contacts field. This will search all fields in the contact info.
  4. Press Enter to filter your contacts by the criteria you have entered.
  5. To clear your filter, click on the X next to the Search Results tab at the top of the page (only appears when hovering your mouse over the tab).

Note: In Classic mode, select the Contacts tab and enter your criteria in the Search field at the top of the page.
