What can I do if an app has disappeared on my TiVo PVR?

If one or more of your apps, like Netflix, have disappeared from your TiVo® interface, the following steps should help to restore them:

In order to restore the applications, you'll need to connect to the TiVo service twice, and then restart your set-top-box, by following these steps:

  1. Press the TiVo button on the remote to display the TiVo Central menu
  2. Access Menu
  3. Access Settings
  4. Select Network Settings
  5. Select TiVo Service Connection to perform a callout
  6. Wait a few minutes for the callout to complete.
  7. Press the Select button to go back to the previous menu

Repeat step 5 to step 7 to complete another callout to the TiVo Service.

When the second cycle is completed:

  1. Access TiVo Central
  2. Select Menu
  3. Select Help
  4. Select Restart Box
  5. Press the Thumbs Down 👎 button three times
  6. Wait until restart is complete.
