How do I make the most of i-Guide HD?

This interactive guide makes it easy to find and record the TV programs you want to watch.

Here’s what you can do with i-Guide HD:

  • Check the TV listings for the next 14 days
  • Search by channel, time or HD content
  • Create Favourites lists
  • Get automatically tuned to HD channels

Good to know:

  • You can access i-Guide HD simply by pressing the Menu or Guide button on your remote control.
  • Categories are identified using colours: purple for movies, blue for kids, and green for sports.
  • This guide was designed for high-definition (HD) TVs, but also works on standard-definition (SD) TVs.

Creating a Favourites list

It’s easy to create a list of your favourites. Here’s how:

  1. Press the Menu button on your remote control twice.
  2. Select Setup, then Favourites Setup.
  3. Use the on-screen keyboard to create up to 5 Favourites lists.

Here are 3 ways to access your Favourites list:

  1. While watching TV, press the FAV button on your remote to skip to the next channel in your Favourites list.
  2. From the TV Guide or Mini Guide, press the FAV button to show only the channels you’ve marked as “Favourites”. Press the FAV button again to scroll through all of your Favourites list.
  3. From the Quick Menu, select the heart icon.

About Auto-Tune HD

When tuning to an SD channel, you’ll automatically be tuned to the HD equivalent if it’s available, thanks to the Auto-Tune HD feature.

Here’s how to activate this feature:

  1. Press the Menu button on your remote control twice.
  2. Select Setup, then Guide Setup.
  3. Select Tune for HDTV and switch to ON.
