It might be interference with a wireless telephone’s wavelengths. To check:
- Unplug the bases of your wireless phones from their wall jacks. Then test call quality with a corded phone.
- Make sure that no wireless devices (router, telephone base, etc.) are near the modem. If there are, move the device a minimum of 60 cm (2 feet) from the modem.
- Shut off your computers and check the line again.
- The problem may also be due to cabling or hardware that uses radio frequencies. If you are unable to find the cause of the problem, please contact our Technical Support by dialing 6-1-1 from your Home Phone.
