Why does the other person’s voice cut in and out when I am on a call?

This problem is generally caused by interference with the wireless signals. The good news is that it is easy to fix.

  • Make sure that no wireless devices (router, telephone base, etc.) are near the modem. If there is, move the device a minimum of 60 cm (2 feet) from the modem.
  • Your wireless router may be on the same frequency as your wireless phone. Check by unplugging your router from the electrical outlet to see if the problem is still there.
  • The problem may also be due to cabling or hardware that uses radio frequencies. If you are unable to find the cause of the problem, please contact our Technical Support by dialing 6-1-1 from your Home Phone.
