How do I uninstall Cogeco Security (F-Secure)?

To uninstall Cogeco Security (F-Secure), follow the steps below associated with your operating system:

Windows XP

  1. Open the Start menu.
  2. Select Settings, then Control Panel.
  3. In the Control Panel, select Add or Remove Programs.
  4. Select Cogeco Security, then Change/Remove.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions by clicking Next until you get a message saying that the program has been uninstalled successfully.

Windows Vista

  1. Open the Start menu, located at the bottom left of the screen.
  2. Select Control Panel from the right column of the Start menu.
  3. In the Control Panel, select Programs and Features.
  4. Select Cogeco Security, then Uninstall.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions by clicking Next until you get a message saying that the program has been uninstalled successfully.

Windows 7

  1. Open the Start menu, located at the bottom left of the screen.
  2. Select Control Panel from the right column of the Start menu.
  3. In the Control Panel, select Programs and Features or Uninstall a program, and look for Cogeco Security.
  4. Select Cogeco Security, then Uninstall.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions by clicking Next until you get a message saying that the program has been uninstalled successfully.

Windows 8

  1. Move your cursor to the bottom-left corner of your screen, and right-click the tile that appears.
  2. Select Control Panel.
  3. In the Control Panel, select Programs and Features or Uninstall a program, and look for Cogeco Security.
  4. Select Cogeco Security, then Uninstall.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions by clicking Next until you get a message saying that the program has been uninstalled successfully.

Windows 10

  4. From the Apps & Features list, select Cogeco Security, then Uninstall.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions by clicking Next until you get a message saying that the program has been uninstalled successfully.

MacOS

  1. Open Finder.
  2. Open the Applications folder in the left column.
  3. Open the Cogeco Security-Sécurité folder.
  4. Open the Uninstall Cogeco Security-Sécurité application.
  5. Select Uninstall and confirm with your admin credentials.
  6. Once the uninstallation is complete, select OK to close the application.
