Can I block all On Demand and Pay-Per-View rentals?

Yes, you can add a Purchase PIN to block all On Demand and Pay-Per-View rentals. See below for steps to add a Purchase PIN for different types of service.

Good to know:

• The Purchase PIN will only affect the box you set it up on so if you have multiple boxes, you may want to set up the lock on each one.
• If you’ve set up other parental controls, such as a block on a channel or rating, these will also apply to On Demand and Pay-Per-View rentals.

EPICO

1. From the main EPICO menu, select Settings ⚙.
2. Select Parental Controls.
3. Select Purchase locks.
4. Enter your PIN, or set one up when prompted.
5. Select Yes.

TiVo

1. Press the TiVo® button on your remote.
2. Select Menu.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select Parental & Purchase Controls.
5. Enter your PIN.
6. Select Purchase Controls. If you have not set up a Parental Control PIN yet, you will be prompted to set one up.
7. Select Require a PIN to purchase.

Digital TV

1. Press the Menu/Settings button twice to open the Main Menu.
2. Select Parental Controls.
3. Enter your PIN. If you have not set a PIN yet, you will be prompted to create a new one by entering it twice.
4. Select PINs Setup.
5. Highlight the field next to Enter new Purchase PIN and enter your new PIN (do not press “OK/Select” first).
6. Enter your PIN a second time to confirm.
